Readers Wanted! 

The Great Chinese Novel is getting a makeover. Want to help create a new English version of Dream of the Red Chamber? Join literary translator (and former DKU lecturer) Austin Woerner to test out a new translation of a classic.

In this mini-book-club event, we will discuss the first three chapters of Dream of the Red Chamber. Feel free to come having read either the first three chapters of the Chinese original, or of Austin’s new English translation, or both. (No Chinese skills required! Readers who only read English and have never read the novel before have an important role to play.)
